RETHINKING ECONOMICS FESTIVAL 2019
Saturday, May 18th
This spring, Rethinking Economics NL comes back with its biggest annual event, the Rethinking Economics Festival! In pursuit of shedding light on economic realities around the world, and fostering an environment of fruitful debates, we’re bringing you interesting talks that reflect the diversity of economic contexts!
We’ll give the floor to speakers with insights and experiences in various regions; exploring alternative ideas from leaving fossil fuels underground in the Ecuadorian Amazon, to understanding Tibetan trade routes and transportation.
Not only that, but there will also be unique talks hosted by Our New Economy (ONE), an organization whose mission is to stimulate new economic thinking in education, research and practice!
Last but not least, we will have interactive workshops, an organization's market, documentary screenings, and a curated art exhibition!
Also, stick around until the end for live music, good food, and great company! Check the preliminary schedule in the discussion for an overview of the event.
